I need cockatiels to trust me!?

I just recently got a pair of cockatiels and I got some food and toys for them so as I was putting them away I accidently dropped one of the toys on the cage and they went crazy! Now whenever I try to go near them they start shaking badly is there any way that I can get the birds to trust me now? Be as thorough as you can be
